<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI thought it was going to be boring\u201d<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
That was the first thing a participant told me at the end of a training I was running for a client.

Silence in the room. You could hear a pin drop.

Then he added:
\"Do you really want to know what I thought of the session? Honestly, it was great. I\u2019m leaving motivated and ready to step into my role as a manager.\"
\"You even got me to ask myself the right questions about my leadership style.\"

Now that\u2019s better.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Why facilitation is (almost) everything<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s face it: most participants didn\u2019t choose to be in the room.\nThey show up with their heads full of unresolved problems, unread emails, and missed deadlines.\nThey don\u2019t want their time wasted.<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s exactly where the role of the facilitator<\/strong> becomes essential.
Even the best-designed training program can fall flat if the facilitation doesn\u2019t create the right conditions for learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I bring everything I\u2019ve got:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • My heart,<\/strong>because yes - I genuinely care about the people I train.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • My head,<\/strong>because the content isn\u2019t improvised - it\u2019s been tested, refined, and validated.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • My body,<\/strong>because presence, energy, and connection make all the difference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    To train is also to coach<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    My approach? Facilitation as coaching coaching<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    That means taking the time - really taking the time - for people to feel included and connected.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To themselves. To others. To what they\u2019re here to learn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And it starts with three deceptively simple questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Three questions to kick off a training session<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

     1. What \u201cflower\u201d do you want to offer the group?<\/strong>
    <\/strong> A positive intention. A mindset, quality, or energy they want to contribute to the collective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     2. What are you leaving outside the room?
    <\/strong> The distractions, worries, and to-do lists that clutter their minds. We \u201cdrop the baggage\u201d so they can be fully present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. What do you want to leave with?
    <\/strong> What they want to learn, shift, or take action on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We build the rules together<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    From the very beginning, we create a safe space<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We set the tone: listening without judgment, asking open questions, challenging each other - with kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And yes, phones go on silent. Then comes the pact: What happens in the room, stays in the room.<\/em>Just like in Vegas.
    Because without confidentiality,<\/strong>there can\u2019t be vulnerability. And without vulnerability, no real transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Take the time\u2026 to save time<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    My facilitator notes usually say: \u201cIntro - 30 min.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In reality? We often spend 90. And that\u2019s totally fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s part of my job to manage the pace, adapt in the moment, and still deliver on the learning goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ending with intention<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    At the end of each session, we always take time to anchor the learnings.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Participants leave with full baskets: ideas, tools, clarity, fresh perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And sometimes, something even deeper:\n A shift in posture. A breakthrough moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The trainer as a catalyst for potential<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    I\u2019m not here to give you scientific papers.\nMaybe the real secret is learning to trust your gut.<\/strong>. To read the room, as we say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    My goal?\nThat people leave with something they can:
    - try
    - fail at
    - try again
    - grow from<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    That they\u2019ve learned how to put their own oxygen mask<\/strong> on when things get hard.\n That they dare to become the kind of manager they would love to have.<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    My role?\nTo walk beside them as they grow their wings. Because honestly? They\u2019ve had them all along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
