PCM is a model derived from the work of the American psychologist Taibi Kahler, on transactional analysis.
Taibi Kahlerl then developed it in collaboration with the NASA, which applies the model to its teams, particularly when recruiting astronauts.
PCM identifies the personality structure of a person through 6 types present in all of us.
This unique blend determines :
- our preference for communication
- our deeper motivations
- our natural forces
- our reactions under pressure, which are predictable... and reversible!
Thanks to the PCM, we are developing our emotional intelligence by learning to recognise these behaviours in ourselves and others, and adapt our communication to gain in relational efficiency.
What are the 6 PCM personality types?
Each profile carries a specific energy
The challenge is not to «put ourselves in a box», but to further develop our emotional intelligence, to understand the filters through which we perceive the world, what motivates us, and what causes us to tip over under stress.
Understanding the impact of the way we communicate enables us to improve individual and collective interactions.
