The PCM is a model that emerged from the work of the American psychologist Taibi Kahler, on transactional analysis.
Taibi Kahler then developed it in collaboration with the NASA, which applies the model for its teams and particularly in the recruitment of its astronauts.
PCM allows you to identify the personality structure from one person to another 6 types present in each of us.
This unique blend determines:
- our communication preferences
- our reactions under pressure, which are predictable… and reversible!
Thanks to PCM, we are developing our emotional intelligence while learning to recognise these behaviours in ourselves and in others, and to adapt our communication to build more effective relationships.
What are the 6 PCM personality types?
Each profile carries a specific energy
The challenge is not about «putting ourselves in a box», but about further developing our emotional intelligence, understanding the filters through which we perceive the world, what motivates us, and what makes us tip over under stress.
Understanding the impact of our communication methods allows for the improvement of individual and collective interactions.
