In an organisation, a team is not just an addition of talents. It is a living system, traversed by links, dynamics, tensions, forces. When these energies are aligned, the collective impact is multiplied.
But when communication breaks down, when objectives are no longer shared, or when tensions build, effectiveness erodes, and motivation wanes.
The team coaching is a concrete and powerful response to these challenges. At The Laughing Willow, we support teams in rediscovering connection, meaning, and a capacity for working together that goes beyond performance directives.
The team coaching in business is a structured approach aimed at durably improving the functioning of a team.
It's neither top-down training nor simple team building.
It is profound support, where team members work together on their ways of operating, their communication, their attitudes, and their roles.
Team coaching rests on three pillars:
- The observation of systemic dynamics: what is happening between the members
- The active implication of each one in the process
- The anchoring in the team operational challenges
- is going through a period of transition merger, change of direction, new project…
- is facing recurring challenges: unresolved conflicts, lack of collaboration, emotional overload
- is losing efficiency or motivation, for no apparent reason
- needs to clarify its role, priorities, or shared purpose
- operates in silos, with limited interaction between team members or with other teams
- simply wants to preserve or strengthen an already healthy dynamic, before it starts to fade
Dare to rediscover the joy of learning and unlearning together. Identify what is holding you back, let go of what no longer serves you, and take action. Move forward at your own pace and embrace new possibilities. Trust your natural talents and unlock your full potential, for yourself and in service of your team.
A well-managed team coaching generates visible and measurable results, on several levels:
- Alignment: goals are understood, shared, and collectively supported.
- Communication: interactions become clearer, more effective, and more constructive
- Trust: tensions are managed more effectively, and relationships grow stronger
- Cohesion: roles and contributions are clarified and more confidently embraced
- Sustainable performance: decision-making becomes smoother, and actions are better coordinated

Team coaching draws on a range of rich and complementary approaches:
- Collective intelligence: World Café, Open Space, vision co-creation, collaborative decision-making
- Typologies and profiles : PCM, TMS, MBTI, HBDI to better understand everyone's styles
- Structured feedback and regulation to install clear and fluid communication
- Professional co-development : among peers, on real cases
- Systemic approach: understanding interactions, implicit roles, and areas of tension or alliance
All these tools are used thoughtfully and flexiblydepending on the group’s level of maturity and the goals that have been set.
Each mission is unique, but the process generally follows 4 main stages:
1. Framing
A period to listen to managerial expectations, strategic challenges, and the team's context. We will define a clear framework together.
2. Shared diagnosis
Observation of interactions, interviews, questionnaires or a kick-off workshop. This diagnosis forms the basis for the design of the support.
3. Active support
Collective sessions, collective intelligence workshops, team rituals, individual coaching if needed. The pace is adapted to operational reality.
4. Closure and projection
Learning evaluation, embedding new practices, team empowerment plan.
Throughout the process, we ensure co-construction, co-creation, and the development of co-responsibility to enrich the trust and psychological safety within the team.

Choosing a team coach means choosing a transformation partner.
Here are the key points to consider:
- Solid experience in group dynamics (not just individual coaching)
- A posture of deep listening and curiosity, far from one-size-fits-all solutions
- A strong understanding of living and complex organisations
- Certified training (ICF or EMCC), active supervision, and clear ethical standards
The coaches of The Laughing Willow are chosen for their demanding standards, their experience, their humility. All are certified, supervised, and passionate about humanity in its individual and collective dimensions.
